Kenneth G. Andres Sr., 88, of Ormond-by-the-Sea, FL, passed away on March 20, 2017, at Florida Memorial Hospital. He was a lifelong Trenton area resident and graduated from Trenton Central High School in 1945, where he played soccer and basketball. He proudly and honorably served in the New Jersey Army National Guard. He spent his whole career with the New Jersey Bell Telephone Company, retiring from a management position after 38 years. Mr. Andres was very active in youth sports in Hamilton Township, coaching multiple baseball, basketball and soccer teams, and he never missed an opportunity to watch his sons' games. An avid Yankees fan and NASCAR enthusiast, he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Mr. Andres was a member of St. Mark United Methodist Church in Trenton and Riverview Methodist Church in Ormond Beach, FL. Kenneth was predeceased by his parents, George and Bertha (Tomes) Andres, and brother and sister-in-law, Cornell E. Andres and Violet Andres. He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Joan Fredericks Andres; his three sons and daughters-in-law, Kenneth G. Andres Jr. and Karen Andres of Haddonfield, NJ, David K. Andres and Maureen Andres of Belle Mead, NJ, and Jeffrey H. Andres of Hamilton, NJ; his grandchildren, Brad, Connor, Tim and Christy Andres, and step-grandchildren, Maggie, C.J., George and Abigail Edinger. The family would also like to thank Joyce for her help. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday, March 27, 2017, from 6 to 8 p.m., at the Saul Colonial Home, 3795 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square, NJ 08690.
