Twiggy was abandoned by her owners several months ago when their house was lost to foreclosure. Fortunately, a good neighbor reported this to the animal shelter, but not before she had lost most of her body weight. She was nothing but skin and bones when she was found, and we didn't know if she would pull through.

Fortunately, the caring people at the animal hospital in Oneonta nursed her back from the brink. Foster parents Rick and Pat, who own Precious Pets Grooming and Boarding, took her on and have done a remarkable job getting this girl back to health. This one did get a chance at life again after being at death's door and she is full of life and so very lovable and forgiving even with all that was done to her !!!
