Fix Your Mama is a program operated by Crossing Paths providing female dog and cat Spay/Neuter services at no cost to residents of Blount County, Alabama We also provide neutering for male Pit Bulls for a donation. The euthanasia rate is high for this breed, as they are difficult to place.
Many thanks to Alabama Spay/Neuter for their free transport program and to Alabama Animal Adoption Society and Friends of Cats and Dogs Foundation who help make this spay/neuter program possible. Thanks also to our dedicated Fix Your Mama volunteers who are out cheerfully at 6am, rain or shine, snow or sleet, month after month, to make this happen for the animals of Blount County. And a big thank you to Blount County residents who care about stopping the cycle of unwanted animals in Blount County and know that spay/neuter is what it takes to save innocent lives.
